This 3-flute tapered step forming cutter combines precision geometry with advanced coolant delivery for optimal aluminum machining. Designed as a solid carbide, uncoated tool with internal coolant channels, it excels in high-speed forming, profiling, and step-milling applications where coating-free cutting edges prevent aluminum adhesion.

3-Cutting Edge Design

Balanced 3-flute geometry reduces vibration while maintaining chip space. 30° spiral flutes ensure efficient chip evacuation in gummy aluminum alloys.

Tapered Step Profile

Integrated step geometry eliminates tool changes for chamfering, deburring, and multi-diameter holes. 5°-15° taper angles (customizable) for smooth transitional cuts.

Internal Coolant System

2-4 precision coolant holes (Ø1.2mm) direct lubricant to cutting edges. Enables 300% higher feed rates vs. external coolant tools. Prevents built-up edge (BUE) in aluminum alloys.

Uncoated Micro-Grain Carbide

Special carbide grade optimized for non-ferrous materials. Polished flute surfaces minimize chip adhesion. No coating means zero chemical affinity with aluminum.

High-Rigidity Shank

Weldon flat shank (optional) prevents slippage in heavy cuts. h6 tolerance for precise collet/chuck mounting.
